What does an Educational Assessment cover?
Answer:
A standard Educational Assessment will normally assess a person's learning styles and abilities. The Psychologist will usually assess the person using a combination of interview and standardised assessment tools. They will then write a report summarising their findings and also make recommendations on how to support the person in the future.
How long will the assessment take?
Answer:
This varies according to the complexity of the assessment and the individual's abilities, but on average the assessments take approximately 2-3 hours.
How long do I have to wait for the report?
Answer:
We aim to provide the report within 2 weeks of the assessment date but this will be confirmed with you by your Client Manager.
Can you assess children & adults?
Answer:
Yes, we provide assessments for children in schools as well as adults in the workplace or higher education.
Do I have to commit to a long term contract?
Answer:
No, we are able to provide Occupational Psychology services on flexible terms including ad hoc and more regular contractual commitments as required.
How much does an assessment cost?
Answer:
Costs will vary depending upon the nature of the assessment you require. Full costs will be confirmed with you prior to any work being undertaken.
Is the assessment confidential?
Answer:
Yes, in the case of a child we will require consent from their parents for the assessment. For adults, we will require their consent to being assessed and to release the report to the employer/college.
Do you provide assessments for Private Individuals?
Answer:
No, we are only able to undertake assessments on behalf of schools, colleges, local authorities or companies.
