Launch of new online Therapist’s Directory

We are pleased to announce the launch of TherapyWeb, a sister site to Psychology Direct.

This new online directory of Psychological & Physical Therapists is designed to help members of the public and health professionals find registered health professionals in their area.

Unlike many generic directories TherapyWeb is specialised in the healthcare sector and aims to give users peace of mind and reassurance when looking for a therapist.  They have achieved this by creating the “Checked by TherapyWeb” accreditation that is only available to therapists who can prove their registration with one of the recognised Professional Bodies listed on the site.

The site has been designed so that it is easy to use, avoiding lots of technical jargon and it enables the user to search by Problem, Type of Therapist or Therapy.  It also gives clients lots of useful information about the therapists including fees they charge, their qualifications etc.

Finally, there is a library of information about various mental and physical health problems to help users make informed decisions about what treatment is best for them.
