This session will introduce the language and definitions relating to gender diverse CYP, outline key research findings regarding the views and experiences of this diverse group and explore the application/implications for your practice.

About Mick Doyle: Mick is a third-year trainee educational psychologist currently studying at the University of East London. Previous to this he has worked in education as a secondary school teacher for 10 years with a particular focus on pastoral care and mental health. Having worked closely with a number of LGBTQIA+ students in the educational setting, this has led him to pursue research into how professionals can support transgender children and young people.
